ABOUT US     OUR HISTORY - It was 1945 when Warren T. Marshall purchased the Kearney Livestock Commission Co., a livestock auction market in Kearney, Nebraska. Over the next 10 years two of his sons, Eugene and Robin, graduated from auction school and became the primary auctioneers at the livestock market. Upon Warren's death in 1967, Robin and Eugene purchased the livestock market from their father's Estate and operated it successfully until the sale of the business in 1984. During the years Robin and Eugene also conducted many auctions of farm machinery and land throughout central Nebraska. In 1978, Robin's son, Miles graduated from auction school and obtained a real estate brokers license. Miles initiated and developed the real estate business specializing in marketing agricultural and rural properties. In 1984, Eugene's son Jeff, graduated from auction school and has since been very active in auctions of agricultural assets throughout the region. TODAY - Marshall Land Brokers & Auctioneers is recognized throughout the Midwest as a leader in marketing ag real estate, farm machinery, heavy equipment and business liquidations. For auction and real estate companies their most valuable asset is reputation. The reputation of quality service, quality people and outstanding performance are fundamental and the hallmark of Marshall Land Brokers & Auctioneers. Our business has grown significantly over the years based on these simple principles. Miles Marshall, Owner/Broker/Auctioneer Miles is a graduate of Missouri Auction School in Kansas City and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in real estate from Kearney State College. Miles has been an innovator in the marketing of real estate and equipment. He has worked fulltime in the real estate and auction business for over 30 years.

Robin Marshall, Auctioneer Robin is a graduate of Reisch Auction School in Mason City, Iowa. He has been very active in the Auctioneers Associations and was inducted in the National Hall of Fame in 2002. Robin has had a distinguished career of 50+ years in the auction industry.

Jeff Marshall, Auctioneer Jeff is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with an Associates Degree in General Agriculture and a graduate of the Missouri Auction School in Kansas City. Jeff is a talented auctioneer with over 25 years of experience in selling equipment, real estate and livestock.

Brenda Marshall, Clerking Administrator Brenda, along with her husband Miles, is co-owner of Marshall Land Brokers & Auctioneers. Brenda holds a Nebraska Real Estate license and has over 15 years experience in managing the auction clerking for the company.           Jan Hinrichsen, Residential Real Estate Specialist Jan is a longtime resident of central Nebraska and has over 18 years of experience as a residential real estate sales agent. Her "can do" attitude combined with her knowledge of the market is a great benefit to her clients.
